MMAは設計をコンセプトプランニングから行う一級建築士事務所です。
アーキテクトというアプローチを通して人々の感情とフィジカルな体験に訴える、言葉では伝えきれない、
無意識の美しさと普遍的な心地よさを想起させる空間を作り出しています。
設計とは、アナログで物質的な量感・質感が、人々の懐かしさや思い出に関われる、
残されていくリアリティを生み出す仕事です。
それがもたらす審美性と精神的豊かさは、より良い環境を作り出す可能性を有しています。
MMAは建物の場所や地域が持つ文化、伝統的な工法、素材を調査し、様々な職人・工房とのコラボレーションを通じて
新しい素材やプロダクトを作り、設計に現代的な解釈を加えてきました。
自然から着想を得て、自然を原型とする新たな建築素材を発想し、
そのエレメントを都市の中に配置すること。
この循環を新たに生成していくことを目指して、MMAの実践は続きます。

Tokyo -based architecture studio MMA specializes in the conceptual planning of architecture and interior spaces.
Through their architectural approach, they create spaces and architecture
that evoke an unconscious beauty and sense of universal comfort,
appealing to people’s emotions and physical experience.
Architectural design, gives life to analog elements of volume and texture.
It is in practice, the work of bringing artifacts of tomorrow into the world as it exists today.

natural materials sourced within a project’s locale, enables MMA to collaborate with artisans and workshops,

東京生まれ。幼少期をスイスで過ごす。多摩美術大学環境デザイン学科卒、組織設計勤務のち工学院大学藤森照信研究室修士課程修了。 16年に MMA Inc.を 設立。建築設計のほか、インテリアデザイン、展覧会の会場構成も手がけている。2020-2022年多摩美術大学非常勤講師。
Born in Tokyo. After spending her childhood in Switzerland, she returned to Japan. With a degree in Environmental Design at Tama Art University , she worked at MHS Planners, Architects & Engineers Ltd. She gained a master's degree at Terunobu Fujimori's laboratory at Kogakuin University. She established Momoko Kudo Architects in 2016 (now MMA Inc.). In addition to architectural design, she is also involved in interior design for shops and restaurants, and in the organization of exhibition spaces. 2020-2022 lecturer at Tama Art University.
